Barnard in Washington Mission
The Barnard in Washington Club (“BIW”) represents alumnae of Barnard College in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. The purpose of the club is to enhance the visibility and community of Barnard College and Barnard alumnae. BIW operates through a volunteer Board of Directors to provide leadership and value to its members.
BIW furthers its goals by:

Fostering professional networking and social interaction among Barnard College alumnae;

Offering high-quality events, knowledgeable speakers and other opportunities for interaction;

Providing news and communicating to Barnard College alumnae through publications and the Internet;

When it serves the purpose of BIW, collaborating with other clubs, organizations, and individuals.
