The Barnard in Washington Book Club Meeting will be scheduled for Sunday, February 16th, from 3:00-4:30 on Zoom to avoid potential weather issues.  We will be discussing Maria Hinojosa's poignant and relevant, beautifully written memoir, "Once I Was You."

Maria is a renowned, Emmy Award-winning journalist and anchor of NPR's Latino USA.  She tells "the story of immigration in America through her family's experiences and decades of reporting, painting an unflinching portrait of a country in crisis."

We have not been able to coordinate with Maria to join us, but if she is able to do so, we will send out another alert!
