Please join Barnard In Washington for a special pot luck brunch with Audrey Roofeh, Barnard ‘00 and CEO of Mariana Strategies at the McLean home of Karen Estilo Owczarski ‘85 on Sunday, January 28 from 12:30 to 2:30. 

Audrey is an attorney and certified change management practitioner, as well as the founder of Mariana Strategies, a consulting firm that helps organizations leverage inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility to meet their mission. Over the last seven years, Audrey has worked with organizations ranging from restaurants to the Department of Defense to build and sustain inclusive workplaces.  Audrey will discuss the importance of DEI discussions in the workplace and her work in promoting, creating and sustaining inclusive, equitable, diverse and accessible workplaces. Audrey will answer your questions about the good, the bad and the ugly of DEI practice - what builds inclusion, what doesn't work, what to do when there's a harassment-related crisis, why prevention is the best medicine and what to expect when it comes to DEI in 2024. 

If you have specific questions you want to discuss - feel free to send them in advance.
