About the Event
Tour select works at the National Museum of Asian Art, led by Meghan Hartman (BC '16). Meghan Hartman is a writer, translator, and scholar based in Washington D.C. She recently earned a PhD in South Asian religions and literatures from the University of Virginia. Currently, she is the Assistant Director of the Khatib Program for Religion and Dialogue at the University of Mary Washington, where she teaches courses on South Asian religion, art, and cinema. She is also a translator of Urdu, Persian, and Sanskrit poetry. The origin story behind this life-trajectory grew from her time at Barnard. Nowadays, you can find Meghan perusing the many bookstores and museums of D.C. - a habit she picked up from her Barnard days. She welcomes any kindred souls to join those adventures too!
Tickets are only open to Barnard alumni.
